Recently, CDC updated their recommendations for fully vaccinated individuals! Here’s an additional reminder that not everyone is fully vaccinated😊 Currently, the efficacy of vaccines are measured by their ability to prevent symptoms from developing (mild, moderate/ severe disease). Even though current vaccines are efficacious in protecting you, “their impact on transmission of the virus has yet to be fully determined.” Therefore, it is still possible for a vaccinated individual to be infected (where the virus replicate in the individual) and transmit it to others, without the individual developing symptoms. This can lead to illness in the unvaccinated individuals! So, let’s continue to protect others and ourselves! ⁣⁣
